Kiekinkoski Holiday Cottages are situated 43 km east of Kuhmo near
the eastern border by Lake Mäntyjärvi and Lake Alajärvi.
You have excellent possibilities for fishing, hunting, picking
berries and mushrooms, hiking and cross-country skiing at
Kiekinkoski. You can also enjoy the peacefullness of the nature and
relax with your family and friends.
The Kiekin water route and the eastern snowmobile track are in the
vicinity and they offer good experiences for canoeing and snowmobile
rides. A hiking trail of the Elimyssalo Nature Reserve Area is also
quite near. It gives the unique opportunity to enjoy beautiful
wildlife in the middle of Kainuu's nature.

The
cottages are within 500 metres from one another on the shore of
lakes. They are fully furnished and offer a sauna and a rowing boat
for the quests' use. The 4 cabins for 4 and 6 persons fit also for
winter habitation. |

You can also rent cabin "Puura",
which is by the Rapid (Kiekinkoski) or "Iknata" by the brook. These
cabins are in the wilderness and little lowly equiped. The basic
equipments are pit, sauna, boat/canoe, wood stove and a gas cooker.
